SARS-CoV-2, 全名為Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus 2, 是引起COVID-19(2019冠狀病毒病)的病毒之名稱。COVID-19是病名, SARS-CoV-2是病毒名。我們的實驗是針對抑制這病毒而設定。

根据本发明的第二方面，本发明提供了一种抑制冠状病毒和/或细菌的方法，所述方法包括将本发明的第一方面所述的中药精油与冠状病毒和/或细菌相接触。

在本发明中，所述方法可以为用于非治疗目的的方法，用于抑制例如环境空气中、物体表面上等的冠状病毒和/或细菌；所述方法也可以为用于治疗目的的方法，例如用于人或动物受试者。

“冠状病毒”是指病毒的包膜上有形状类似日冕的棘突的一类病毒。冠状病毒粒子呈不规则形状，直径约 60-220nm。病毒粒子外包着脂肪膜，膜表面有三种糖蛋白：刺突蛋白（S，Spike Protein，是受体结合位点、溶细胞作用和主要抗原位点）；包膜蛋白（E，Envelope Protein，较小，与包膜结合的蛋白）；膜蛋白（M，Membrane Protein，负责营养物质的跨膜运输、新生病毒出芽释放与病毒外包膜的形成）。

本发明的中药精油通过减少冠状病毒的刺突蛋白，可以减少刺突蛋白与血管紧张素转化酶 2 （ACE2）的结合，从而可以起到抑制冠状病毒的作用。因此，在一个实施方案中，所述中药精油通过减少冠状病毒外壳的刺突蛋白来抑制冠状病毒。

在一些实施方案中，所述冠状病毒为严重急性呼吸综合征冠状病毒 2 号（SARS-CoV-2）、严重急性呼吸综合征冠状病毒（SARS-CoV）、中东呼吸综合征冠状病毒(MERS-CoV)、或蝙蝠 SARS 样冠状病毒（bat-SL-CoVZC45）。

在一些实施方案中，所述细菌为金黄色葡萄球菌（Staphylococcus aureus）、大肠杆菌（Escherichia coli）、铜绿假单胞菌（Pseudomonas aeruginosa）、肺炎克雷伯氏菌（Klebsiella peneumoniae）、枯草芽孢杆菌（Bacillus subtilis，BS）、嗜水气单胞菌（Aeromonas hydrophila）、迟缓爱德华氏菌（Edwardsiella tarda）、解藻弧菌（Vibrio alginolyticus）、哈维氏弧菌（Vibrio harveyi）中的一种或者多种。

根据本发明的第三方面，本发明还提供了本发明的第一方面所述的中药精油在制备用于预防冠状病毒感染和/或细菌感染的制剂中的用途。

在一些实施方案中，所述冠状病毒为严重急性呼吸综合征冠状病毒 2 号（SARS-CoV-2）、严重急性呼吸综合征冠状病毒（SARS-CoV）、中东呼吸综合征冠状病毒(MERS-CoV)、或蝙蝠 SARS 样冠状病毒（bat-SL-CoVZC45）。

在一些实施方案中，所述细菌为金黄色葡萄球菌、大肠杆菌、铜绿假单胞菌、肺炎克雷伯氏菌、枯草芽孢杆菌、嗜水气单胞菌、迟缓爱德华氏菌、解藻弧菌、哈维氏弧菌中的一种或者多种。

根据本发明的第四方面，本发明提供了一种日用品，包含本发明的第一方面所述的中药精油。
在一些实施方案中，所述日用品为口罩、消毒液、香薰、喷雾、洗手液或护肤品。

实验原理 : 抗新冠病毒（SARS-CoV-2）作用的研究

通过检测中药提取物样品对存在于新冠病毒（SARS-CoV-2）外壳的刺突蛋白（Spike protein）的抑制作用来表示中药提取物的抗病毒功效。当刺突蛋白被中药提取物抑制时，其与人类受体——血管紧张素转化酶 2（ACE2）的结合就会降低。刺突蛋白与 ACE2 的结合越少，则中药提取物抑制刺突蛋白的功效越强。该方法是测试药物抗新冠病毒（SARS-CoV-2）功效的一种有效的体外检测手段。

As the first step of a virus replication strategy, the virus attaches to the surface of the host cell before entering the cell. Spike protein receptor binding domain (RBD) recognizes and attaches to the angiotensin converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) receptor on the surface of type I and type II lung cells, endothelial cells and ciliated bronchial epithelial cells. Invasion Mechanism of Coronavirus

Several recent studies have pointed out that the spike protein of coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) binds to Angiotensin-converting Enzyme 2 (ACE2)* on the surface of human cells. ACE2 is mainly expressed on the cell surface of the upper respiratory tract bronchus, which is activated by the action of Transmembrane Protease, Serine 2 (TMPRSS2).

*ACE2 is mainly concentrated in the branches of the accessory lobules and bronchus, where some of the precursor cells that are not fully differentiated. Research by scientists from the Berlin Institute of Health (BIH), Berlin University, and Heidelberg University Hospital found that the density of ACE2 receptors increases with age, and men are generally higher than women.
